Adopt a Farmer is an initiative launched by Sulamot, under the leadership of Rav Yosef Zvi Rimon,
aimed at supporting Shemita observant farmers during the 5782 Shemita period.

This Shemita year, numerous farmers in Eretz Yisrael will cease working their land, effectively curtailing their livelihood during this period.

Covid-19 significantly exacerbated their financial hardships. And yet, these committed farmers are choosing to strictly uphold the laws of Shemita.

Meet our Farmers

We provide a wide range of innovative programs and projects aimed at  strengthening Jewish identity and Jewish text study, while cultivating Jewish continuity and a next generation of inspired Jewish leadership.  

Our projects impact 21st century Jews in meaningful and relevant ways – harnessing popular digital media platforms and advanced ed-tech and methodologies to breathe fresh life into Jewish texts and create Jewish experiences that inspire a deeper love and commitment to Torah and Halacha – at home, in the classroom, and as part of a community.

Sulamot, founded by Rav Yosef Zvi Rimon in 2008, is an Israel-based organization that engages an audience of hundreds of thousands of adults and children in Jewish communities worldwide.
